NTR Biopic Vidya Balan as Basavatarakam New LookBollywood actress Vidya Balan is playing the role of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s wife Basavatarakam in upcoming NTR biopic, which is being made in two parts. Today on the occasion of Vidya Balan’s birthday, the makers of NTR biopic has released a new look poster of the actress .  A note on the poster reads: “Vendi THera Tarakamma Gariki Puttina Roju Shubhakankshalu. Diviloni Taraka Ramula Tarapuna Bhuvipaini Telugu Varandari Tharapuna…”

NTR biopic is one of the most anticipated films of 2019. Nandamuri Balakrishna is essaying the role of his father, legendary actor and former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh N.T Rama Rao in the film, which is directed by National Award winning director Krish,  who allegedly left Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika mid way, to begin work on NTR biopic.

Rana Daggubati is playing current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh- Chandrababu Naidu, Sumanth Akkineni is playing  Akkineni Nageswar Rao in NTR Kathanayakudu alongside Jisshu Sengupta to star as LV Prasad. Southern diva, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as the legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi.

The movie will now be released in two parts, with the first installment releasing on January 9, 2019, and the second part releasing on 7th February 2019. The expectations from the film – NTR biopic are running high after the stupendous success of Savitri biopic Mahanati, starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead.

Vidya Balan made her acting debut in 1995 with Hum Paanch, following which she made several attempts at a career in Malayalam and Tamil movies. The actress then appeared in music videos for the performers  Euphoria,  Pankaj Udhas, and Shubha Mudgal, all of which were directed by Pradeep Sarkar. She made her film debut with a leading role in Goutam Halder’s Bengali film Bhalo Theko which was released in 2003. Her popular movies are Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, Begum Jaan, Tumhari Sulu and others. Currently Vidya Balan is waiting for the release of NTR Kathanayakudu.
