Maharshi Closing Biz Numbers on Sympathy Grounds?

It was since a long time Prince Mahesh Babu delivered a solid hit which recorded super success in all the territories. Mahesh Babu scored such a genuine blockbuster with Srimanthudu in 2015.

Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam and Spyder stood as duds while Bharat Ane Nenu was a hit half of the territories and incurred losses in rest of the areas.

Similarly, Maharshi has incurred heavy losses in Overseas, Ceded and Nellore while it became  a big hit in other areas.

However, right from the release day, itself, abnormal numbers for Maharshi have been shown by the PR team. As a result, Nizam closing business numbers were zoomed up to Rs.30 crores. Mega fans, however, have many apprehensions on Maharshi Nizam share. According to them, Maharshi couldn't even cross industry hit Rangasthalam share in 10 centres in Nizam. "But then, how could the makers promote the film as a non Baahubali biggest grosser in Nizam?," they questioned.

"As the recent offings of Mahesh Babu couldn't score solid hits, some media houses might have given bloated closing share numbers on sympathetic grounds," opined an observer.

As we know, Maharshi collected Rs.101+ crores share in full run and stood as an above average venture at the box office.
