Sye Raa Closing Business, 73 Recovery!

Mega Star Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a historical epic film inspired by the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who revolted against the atrocities of East India Company, is turning out to be a flop maker in most of the territories, except in Telugu states.

After witnessing tremendous footfall for two weeks, the film started to run out of steam at the box office from week three. For high budget entertainers like Sye Raa, they need steady run for at least 4 weeks. But, the film helmed by Surender Reddy, saw huge drops from the start of third week itself.

Although the film crossed 100 Cr share mark in Telugu states alone, given the high spends, the film is not a huge profit makers for buyers in AP and TS as well. While the film has done a worldwide pre release business of 197.80 Cr, it earned Rs 145.79 Cr for full run. So, the recovery is just 73%. Here is break up list of shares:
