Sye Raa Non-Baahubali record in Nizam
Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was released on 2nd October worldwide in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the dream project of Chiranjeevi is receiving accolades from all quarters. Now according to the trader’s report, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has created a non-Baahubali record in the Nizam area.
UV Creations acquired the theatrical rights of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ Nizam for a record price of Rs 30 crores and released Chiranjeevi starrer through Dil Raju’ Sri Venkateswara Creations. According to the trader’s report, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy ended up collecting Rs 32.10 Cr in its final run in Nizam. And it has turned out the third highest grosser of the Nizam territory. Sye Raa in which Chiranjeevi played the role of freedom fighter, stood next to SS Rajamouli; Baahubali series- Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Baahubali: The Beginning in Nizam. Surender Reddy’s directorial venture Sye Raa is the only non-Baahubali movie that crossed Rs 30 crore mark in Nizam.
Sye Raa is bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions and the film has the music by Amit Trivedi. The movie starring Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B, Nayantara, Tamannah Bhatia, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep, Niharika Konidela and others in the supporting roles.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy narrates the tale of freedom fighter Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy. Reportedly, Reddy was the first voice of revolt against the British rule in India. However, many historians claim that Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy fought for his right for pension, nothing as massive as the film portrays.
Sye Raa’ Telugu version is blockbuster but the movie is turning out commercially flop in North belt. Sye Raa faced the tough competition with the Bollywood movie war starring Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan. Now Chiranjeevi is getting ready to start the work of his next upcoming project, which will be directed by Koratala Siva.
