Neha Dhupia made her film debut in 1994 as a child artist in Malayalam film Minnaram in which Mohanlal played the lead role.   Her Bollywood debut was with Qayamat: City Under Threat, which had an average performance at the box office. She came in limelight after delivering Julie. Neha Dhupia has spent a decade in the film industry, and she has gone through her own share of ups and downs. According to Neha Dhupia, It wasn’t a smooth ride for her but a bumpy one.  Recently during the media interaction, Neha Dhupia talked about the horrific experiences that she faced down South.  Neha Dhupia pointed out that she used to s*xism in the South Indian film industry.

During an interview, Neha Dhupia said, “In the past when I was doing a South film, they always insisted on feeding the hero first and I would just be like I am hungry and they would be like, ‘But hero is in a shot and he will pick up the plate first’.”

 Neha Dhupia further added, “But that was many years ago. Things like that don’t happen anymore. It happened once on a set with me. It really did not bother me because I was just like ok fine.

Neha Dhupia, is a well-known face for Telugu  audiences as she has been the part of few Telugu movies- Parama Veera Chakra  and Ninne Ishtapaddanu. In Dasari Narayana Rao’s directorial venture Parama Veera Chakra,  Neha Dhupia  shared the screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Neha Dhupia tied the knot with Angad Bedi. The couple has one girl. She was last seen in Hindi movie Helicopter Eela, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, in which Kajol played the female lead  as an aspiring singer and single mother. The movie is based on the Gujarati play Beta, Kaagdo, penned by Anand Gandhi.
