Allu Arjun says: I connect to his efforts, struggles and journey
Stylish Star Allu Arjun paid a rich tribute to his grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah on his death anniversary.
On the occasion of Allu Ramalingaiah’ death anniversary, Allu Arjun took to social media to pay a heartfelt tribute to the legendary actor. Allu Ramalingaiah was a famous actor who played character roles, comedian roles, and villain characters in over 1000 Tollywood movies. Allu Arjun took to his twitter to share a photograph of his grandfather and said, “I remember this day when he left us. I know more about him now than on that day. The more I experience many things in life the more I connect to his efforts, struggles and journey. We all are here today in this position because of this poor farmers passion for cinema.”
The legendary actor, Allu Ramalingaiah passed away on 31st July, 2004. He started his film career in 1953 with Puttillu and his last film was Jai. For his outstanding contribution to Tollywood as a comedy actor for the year 1990, he was awarded the Padma Shri.
Meanwhile on the work front, Allu Arjun will be seen working with Sukumar for the upcoming action and romantic drama Pushpa in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna of Chalo and Geetha Govindam fame.
