Mahesh Babu completes 21 years in TFI: #21YearsForRajakumarudu
Mahesh Babu, one of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema, has completed 21 years in the industry. Although he made his acting debut as a child artist in a 1979 film Needa, when he was four years old, the first film that had him playing the lead role was Rajakumarudu, which released on 30th July, 1999. The film completes 21 years of its release today. It was directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by C Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjaynthi Movies. In this film Rajakumarudu, Superstar Mahesh Babu shared the screen space with Preity Zinta.
K Raghavendra Rao had directed Rajakumarudu and since then Mahesh Babu has had a series of big hits like Murari, Okkadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Businessman, SVSC, Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru to his credit and he also received rave reviews for his performance in films like Nijam, Athadu, Khaleja and 1-Nenokkadine to name a few.
The film Rajakumarudu became an instant blockbuster upon the release on 30th July 1999. Though Mahesh Babu made his debut as Super Star Krishna’s son but today, his achievements speak more than himself.
Meanwhile on the work front, Mahesh Babu will be seen working with Parasurma in upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
