Karthi is currently working with Bakkiyaraj Kannan for an upcoming film Sulthan. The entire shoot of Sulthan has been already wrapped up and the makers have also started the promotional activities. Now according to  the latest update the teaser of karthi film Sulthan will be released on Monday at 5 pm.

The upcoming film Sulthan marks the Tamil debut of Kannada girl  Rashmika Mandanna of Geetha Govindam  and Dear Comrade fame. The film also has Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan in key roles.

This is the first time, Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles, in a film which is  produced by SR Prabhu’s Potential Studios. The movie Sulthan is the second venture of director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, who made his directorial debut with Remo.  The movie has music composed by duo Vivek and Mervin. PC Sreeram is  taking care of the cinematography department with Rubens in charge of the editing.  Earlier, it was rumored that the movie Sulthan was based on the life of Tipu Sulthan. However, the makers refuted the rumor by saying that the story has nothing to do with Tipu Sulthan or his life.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is presently busy shooting for Sukumar’ directorial venture Pushpa  starring  Stylish Star Allu Arjun.
