Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun recall Allu Ramalingaiah on death anniversary
Legendary actor of Tollywood Allu Ramalingaiah is one of the popular comedy actors in Tollywood and Allu Arjun’s grandfather. In his filmy career of five decades, the thespian appeared in close to 1000 movies and played a wide range of roles as the comedian, antagonist, and supporting artist. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1990 by the Government of India and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in the year 2001.
Allu Arjun remembered his grand father Allu Ramalingaiah on the occasion of his death anniversary and wrote on the wall of the Twitter, “Farmer, legendary actor & a great soul remembering my grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah garu today on his death anniversary. His passion for movies is what rubbed off the rest of us . His journey continues to be an inspiration to many of us. He will remain in our hearts forever.”
Allu Ramalingaiah’s son-in-law Chiranjeevi remembered the former on his death anniversary and penned down a heartfelt note on social media.
Allu Ramalingaiah is known for acting in Mayabazar, Mutyala Muggu, Missamma, Mantri Gari Viyyankudu. In 1980, his daughter Surekha tied the knot with Chiranjeevi and the couple are blessed with two daughters, Sushmita and Srija, and a son, mega power star Ram Charan.
