Lavanya Tripathi is  on the ninth cloud as  this is the first time she is going to play the female lead in an action and comedy film.  Lavanya Tripathi  has signed a yet to be titled  film which will be directed by Ritesh Rana of Mattu Vadalara fame. Now according to the latest update, Ritesh Rana andLavanya Tripathi film was launched today morning with a pooja ceremony at the Westin Hotel, and SS Rajamouli sounded the first clap.  The first shot was directed by Koratala Siva.

The lunch event was attended  by the directors Rajamouli, Koratala Siva and Gunnam Gangaraju. Naresh Agastya, Vennela Kishore, Satya, and Gundu Sudarshan are in the lead roles. Kala Bhairava is rendering the tune and Suresh Sarangam is handling the cinematography.

The movie will be bankrolled by Clap entertainment in association with Mythri Movie Makers.

Lavanya Tripathi says, “I have been working on my comic quotient, and timing, apart from body language for my role. It has been a great experience and I am looking forward to start  the shoot.” The actress will be undergoing a makeover looks-wise too.

On the otherside, Lavanya Tripathi was last seen playing  the female lead in Kartikeya starrer Chaavu Kaburu Challaga.
