Popular singer dies after live performance Bollywood famous playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, who gave Indian music lovers many hits over the last three decades passed away last night.  The reports are coming that the singer felt uneasy after his concert at Gurudas College fest at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata and later went to his hotel where he fell ill. Krishnakumar Kunnath was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead. KK was 53. Krishnakumar Kunnath was known for songs like ‘Pal’ and ‘Yaaron’, which went on to become big hits among teens in the late 1990s, often heard during  the school and college farewells and teen cultural events.   KK has recorded songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil,  Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali, among other languages. TV actress attempts suicide Noted Television actress K Mythili attempted suicide. The incident took place in Panjagutta, Hyderabad on Monday. The sources say that the TV actress Mythili called Panjagutta police on Monday evening and requested them to take action on her husband. She also demanded them to seize her husband’s vehicle, otherwise she will  end her life by committing suicide. Maithili attempted suicide by consuming eight breezers and sleeping tablets. After hearing this news,  the Police rushed to her house. They found the actress in an unconscious stage and shifted her to NIMS hospital.  The actress is undergoing treatment. Police informed that Mythili  had also filed a harassment case against her husband with Mothe police six months ago.  More details regarding this incident are yet to be known. Noted producer duped in Credit Card Fraud Boney Kappor is a popular name in Bollywood and South Indian film Industry. According to the latest report, he  was duped by an unidentified person who fraudulently carried transactions from the film producer’s credit card totaling Rs 3.82 lakh. An aide close to Boney Kapoor filed a complaint against the alleged fraudster. Boney Kapoor found out about the fraud when an executive from his bank called up for credit card bill payment on 30th March. A Senior Police Inspector Bandopant Bansode of the Amboli police station revealed that Kapoor has stated in his complaint that several transactions were made from his credit card without his consent or knowledge, collectively amounting to Rs 3.84 lakh. The police official added that the unidentified person has used the credit card to carry out 5 online transactions on 9th February by obtaining Boney Kapoor’s details and password.
