Superstar Krishna’s wife and actor Mahesh Babu‘s mother Ghattamaneni Indira Devi breathed her last at around 4 am on 28th September in Hyderabad.  Several celebrities took to social media to post condolences for her.

Jana Sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan issued a statement regarding the demise of Mahesh Babu’ mother Indira Devi. “It is sad that Sri Krishna’s wife and Mahesh Babu’s mother Shrimati Indira Devi breathed her last. I pray that the soul of Indira Devi rests in peace. My deepest condolences to their family. I am praying that God will grant Sri Krishna and Mahesh Babu the courage to recover quickly from this pain.”

Balakrishna also released the press not: The death of Ghattamaneni Krishna’s wife and Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi is sad. May the holy soul of Indira Devi rest in peace. I convey my deepest condolences.

Nara Lokesh also took to his twitter and wrote: Condolences on the death of Indira Devi, wife of famous actor and superstar Krishna. I pray to God to rest her soul in peace. My deepest sympathy to their family members

Chandrababu Naidu also wrote on Twitter: The news of the death of Indira Devi, the wife of famous actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu has caused a shock. Praying to God to rest her soul and give the family members the mental strength to recover quickly from this ordeal. My deepest condolences to the family.
